Privacy Policy
PomoMons runs entirely in your browser. This page says exactly what we collect and why.
Last updated 5 October 2026.
What we collect
Your timer settings and mon collection stay in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB). We never see them, and we can't recover them if you clear your browser. That's what the save-code backup below is for.
We also count anonymous page views and three events through GoatCounter: a focus session finishing, a mon caught, a signup. No cookies, no way to tell one visitor from another.
If you sign up
The envelope button and the signup card are optional. Nothing in the app requires an email address. If you give us one:
- Save-code backup. We email your save code once, through Brevo, then discard the code. It's never stored.
- Mailing list. Only if you tick the updates box, which is unticked by default. Your address and that consent go into a Google Sheet. We haven't sent a mailing-list email yet; when we do, every one will carry an unsubscribe link.
Your email is visible to us, to Google (where it's stored), and to Brevo (which sends the backup). Nobody else. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it for ads.
Your choices
- Never sign up. The app works the same either way.
- Leave the updates box unticked to get the backup without the mailing list.
- Email hello@pomomons.io to have your address deleted.
- Clear your browser's site data for pomomons.io to erase your local collection.
Also
- No tracking cookies, no ad scripts.
- PomoMons isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their email addresses; contact us if you think we have.
